Svitzer – PO Missed, Delayed Delivery

    Source of issue –Customer - Svitzer
    Description –

    BL received an urgent PO from Svitzer (0056422602701) on Friday 13MAY22. BL was on a Sydney-Melbourne Business Trip and missed the PO on Friday night. It was not until Monday night 16MAY22, that he realized the error and forwarded the PO to AB for processing.


    Immediate action –CAA cast the anodes immediately on Tuesday 17MAY22 and on transport for delivery to Brisbane AM 18MAY22
    Root cause –BL missed the email on Friday 13MAY22
    Corrective action –

    1. When BL (or any other staff) are on a Business Trip, they must add an Auto-reply to their email indicating that they are out of the office, with limited access to emails. If an enquiry is urgent, please forward it to sales@cathodicanodes.com.au
    2. BL to more diligently check all emails when on Business Trips.
    3. Svitzer advised to amend their system to ensure that all POs go to sales@cathodicanodes.com.au (which they have subsequently done)

  1. 13SEP22: Back on 29AUG22 we had another similar incident for Svitzer (their PO 1057822600901), their order was not entered into MYOB, which was not picked up until Svitzer enquired about its whereabouts. We rushed it too them, but we are not looking reliable in Svitzers eyes. NEED TO ENSURE THAT THIS DOES NOT OCCUR AGAIN.
