Uses

Primarily used in “soft water”, where total dissloved solids (TDS) are between 40 – 600mg/L. Note: Not recommended for use in “hard” water (where TDS are between 600-2500 mg/L). The anode is likely to corrode at a faster rate and may be prone to gassing. We recommend an Aluminium anode for “Hard” water.

Socket

Steel cap to suit socket type 3/4″ NPT thread. Colour Code on cap is Black.

Performance Properties

Electrochemical Potential -1.45v ( with respect to Cu/CuOo4 Reference Electrode). Theoretical anode consumption rate in hot drinking water: 6kg/A. year. (Source: Australia Standard AS2239-2003).
