Description –
Scales past calibration date
Immediate action –Contact Measuretron to book a firm testing date. AS OF 05OCT15: Measuretron completed the calibration of scales.
Root cause –Relying on Supplier to remind us of Calibration
Corrective action –
DK set up "Google Calendar", all calibration/testing dates are added to the calendar as a reminder to carry out the task. The calendar is linked to sales@cathodicanodes.com.au which is viewed by DK, JL and RG. We will proactively arrange the calibration/testing, rather than waiting for our suppliers to contact us. This will be used for all relevant Measurement Equipment as well as Cooling Tower, crane, Electric Induction Furnace, Electrical Tagging, Forklift and Lifting Chains.
Verification –21JUL17: Since the issue was identified in September 2015, it has been checked 3 times and each time the calibration has been carried out within the allotted time.

23AUG16: Calendar system still pops up every morning on DK computer. All Measurement Equipment is currently up to date.
07FEB17: Calendar system still working effectively. No late calibration since we began using this system. Also note that measurement equipment reports are all now uploaded to 2020.
