Source of issue –Customer - Darwin Shipstores
Description –
Peter Sellars from Darwin Shipstores placed order 14637 prior to 05JUL22, he rang on 05JUL22 and ordered 2 additional anodes over the phone. One of which was CDA-1S Type 1. We subsequently dispatched CDA-15S Type 1 in error.
We did not dispatch the correct anodes (CDA-1S Type 1) until the 04AUG22.
14SEP22: Peter rang and spoke to LS. He was furious that we did not send the correct anodes sooner. It appears that in response he was not willing to re-pack the incorrect CDA-15S Type 1 anodes so that we could arrange collection. Discussion got heated, Peter hung up on LS.
Immediate action –LS emailed - asked Peter to gift anodes to someone if he was not prepared to pack them so we could arrange collection.
Root cause –1. We sent incorrect anodes. 2. We took too long to send replacement anodes
Corrective action –
LS instructed MS of the importance of dispatching ASAP when requested.
21SEP23: Darwin Shipstores now have new owners + Mitchell Seidl is no longer with CAA.
