Source of issue –Customer - King Bros (Batemans Bay)
Description –
We supplied CDZPN-GG which is the Anode (P/N CDZPN-G) and the Bronze insert (P/N CDZPN-GGG). Invoice 53868.
Daniel said one was really good and the other was rough with damaged thread and generally beaten up (see photo). He said the finish was bad, swarf all over the place. He is concerned that it may bind up when he installs it.
Immediate action –LS checked CDZPN-GGG in stock and said there was some swarf inside, but none damaged. Quality looked good.
Root cause –Stock from Metal Distributors. There is some variation in quality, but give the nature of the product, it did not look bad. No need to inform Metal Distributors.
Corrective action –
Further discussions with Daniel later in the day indicated that he is OK now, happy to give it a clean up an try it. He said he is a bit worried about the vessel as he has had a lot of trouble with it and he is hoping to avoid any further trouble. Daniel to let us know if he has any trouble during installation.
