LRQA – Administration

LRQA Administration has been poor for some time, as part of our Management Review process we documented their failures from 2015 to present as follows:
27JAN15: Audit booked for 26FEB15. LRQA proposed date change to 05MAR15. We agreed to change.
JUL15: BL requested confirmation of tentative audit dates for Cert renewal 15-16OCT15. Requested confirmation twice, did not receive confirmation until 11AUG15.
24AUG15: LRQA requested audit date to be changed to 14-15SEP15. They argued that audit must be at least 6 weeks before date on Cert.
28AUG15: Proposed change to 14-15SEP15 not suitable for us. BL let LRQA know that all delays over previous 3 years were due to LRQA changing dates.
03SEP15: BL followed up with LRQA to finalise dates, settle on 15-16OCT15, as delays were caused by LRQA.
03MAY16: LRQA propose SV1 date of 26AUG16. We approve date.
23AUG16: LRQA propose 2 day transition audit, 3 days before audit. We suggest 1 day audit (as planned) to assess progress against ISO 9001 2015 + 1/2 day audit later.
29AUG16: LRQA propose 1/2 day transition audit on 09FEB17. We agree to date.
24JAN17: LRQA request date change to 07FEB17. We settle on 08FEB17.
23MAR17: BL requests new ISO 9001 2015 Certificate. Followed up on 27MAR17 and 04APR17.
11APR17: Received Cert (over 2 months after audit), with incorrect wording.
24APR17: Received amended Certificate.
14JUN17: BL followed up with LRQA to confirm tentative date of 24AUG17. Followed up again 21JUN17 and again 23JUN17.
23JUN17: BL found another error on ISO 9001 2015 Certificate. Informed LRQA of error.
30JUN17:LRQA requested date change for next audt to 17AUG17. We approved change.
06JUL17: LRQA re-issued ISO 9001 2015 with same error. Re-issued again on the same day with error.
07JUL17: Corrected Certificate issued.
10MAY18: BL contacted LRQA to confirm tentative date of 17AUG18,
01JUN18: LRQA suggested 13-14AUG18, which was not suitable for us. Some backwards and forwards with dates, ended up settling on 16-17AUG18 with alternative auditor.

01AUG18: Signed up with alternative accreditation body, Global Certification.
