Source of issue –Costing - MYOB
Description –
Marine Plus were given bulk buy anode prices on the 13th of Nov 2014 (Quote B131114A). In early May 2016, Doug Gandy from Marine Plus informed us that they were not receiving the Bulk Buy Prices.
Immediate action –BL reviewed all Invoices from 13NOV14 to MAY16, and compiled a list of the errors (doc Marine Plus bulk Reimbursement MAY16). The total amount overcharged was $1,737.60. This amount is to be split 50/50 with half to be deducted from MAY16 and half from JUN16.
Root cause –MYOB unable to handle various prices
Corrective action –
1. Short Term: Marine Plus to be reimbursed. 2. Medium Term: Currently Green folder in Stores area has the Bulk Buy prices (for Marine Plus, Sam Allen and Bulbecks). Stores staff must manually refer to this list when bulk orders are received. Also, customers are reminded to mark "Bulk Buy" on their PO's as an extra reminder. 3. Long Term: Find a solution that will work within MYOB. Change accounting packages.
Verification –11MAY18: No longer an issue. Price increase means we no longer offer Bulk Buy prices
